Summer Festivals
.
The Nakameguro festival was filled with surprises this year. We set out with a varied group ranging from friends, co-workers, friends of friends, visitors and ex-colleague couples. Despite the unplanned anomaly of the group, things turned out quite well. Visitors had English-speakers to chat with, Symantec-ers had other Symantec-ers, diving became an international language and Japanese speakers had those that tried very hard (me!).
.
The day's highlights ranged from creating our little outdoor restaurant with front-row seats to the parade, befriending extremely warm-hearted staff at the sushi restaurant, shielding raindrops the size of golfballs from bombing our beer to watching 80-yr old fluoro street dancers bust a move.
