In different corners of the world today, there are surreal areas of high risk that are unimaginable from looking at our comfortable lives in comparison. We all live in such a safe sheltered world where our biggest concerns are how to make an additional buck or our next holiday destination. Halfway across the world, misunderstandings still prevail, where the root of the conflict is stemmed from a lack of respect for the others existence and the need to feel whos right.

I can't believe it was only 1990 when they discovered the 4th infiltration tunnel through the DMZ in Korea. 45m below the surface, 3.5km long, fully featured with electric lines and lamps, as well as railways and paths for vehicles allows for the passing of a division in a single hour.

Today, this is all part of a tourist attraction but the ambience is still sombre. Unfortunately no pics of the good stuff coz I didn't want to be the ignorant foreigner, so I can only share the comical areas.
