Domesticated

Domesticated
.

As some of you may/may not know, I'm rather domesticated. I love cooking and baking!!!

Easter time: Chocolate Indulgence Excuse
"...Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get... "
Well that statement isn't really true when you make your own chocolates....and include a description card with the box that tells you whats in each chocy.....You DO know what you're going to get - Some yummy alcoholic truffles that melt in your mouth and make life worthwhile.....Hmmm....:)

Maybe thats what life is like for me.....Well planned, well presented on the outside but just some drunken fun on the inside!!! haha :P

Easter's a time for giving...and also a great excuse to eat a lot of chocies. I haven't baked for a while now....but Alas, I've still got it ;) Happy Easter Everyone! To all who received some goodies from me, hope you liked it. If you didn't...well, here are some pics below.....

Are they really better than S3X?

Have you ever wondered why people all over the world crave chocolate and even claim that it brings them ecstasy?
.
In between pre-heating the oven and frosting, I did a bit of research...
.
Chocolate actually contains -
.
Tryptophan – amino acid that is the rate-limiting step in the production of the mood-modulating neurotransmitter serotonin. Enhanced serotonin function typically diminishes anxiety.

Theobromine – like caffeine is known to stimulate pulse rate.

Anandamide - endogenous cannabinoid found in the brain. However, sceptics claim one would need to consume several pounds of chocolate to gain any very noticeable effects; and eat a lot more to get fully stoned.

Phenylethylamine (love chemical) - releases mesolimbic dopamine in the pleasure-centres that is known to peak during orgasm. It helps mediate feelings of attraction, excitement, giddiness, apprehension and euphoria. Taken in unnaturally high doses, phenylethylamine can produce stereotyped behaviour more prominently even than amphetamine.

Eating chocolate also releases endorphins, the body's endogenous opiates. Enhanced endorphin-release reduces the chocolate-eater's sensitivity to pain and contribute to the warm inner glow feeling.
.
Next time a guy gives you chocolates, you'll know why.....
